This week the work on more Essence Portraits of  flowers continued.  While we underwent a last gasp from winter outside, inside my focus is on spring, even summer, creating images of roses. Below is Rose Dalet [number 4].

At this point I have six so far.

If you have seen the video about the Essence Portraits of people, you know that this is just my initial step in my plan for these flower images.

Like the others, Rose Dalet is created with strokes that are the original letters of Deuteronomy 6.  This seems especially fitting as   verse 5 says:

“And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.”
