In the scripture art painting Genesis Sunset Dalet the moment of light depicted is so strong that it seems to create a dip in the land beneath it from its “weight”.
The Woman of Valor Rosebud – Red is art that celebrates the special women in our lives. Each and every stroke that creates the image is created with a letter from the original Hebrew text of Proverbs 31: 10-31.
One of the most important symbolic animals in the Bible is the lion. It is a Jewish national and cultural symbol, traditionally regarded as the symbol of the Israelite tribe of Judah. In more recent history it has also been adopted as a symbol for the peoples of the English Commonwealth, and the English language. It was also used as a symbol for the emperors of Ethiopia, and in more recent times for the Rastafarian movement.
Many people claim to have a problem – even problems with money in general. Almost no one has a problem with art in general. And yet, money is almost always also art….
Money is art. Money follows art. Anyone who is experiencing a lack of money – or wealth, is most likely also experiencing a lack of authentic, inspiring and visually challenging art.
Genesis Aleph Sunset uses the original Bible’s Torah font letters of Genesis 1-2:7 for each and every stroke. These strokes make it a member of the Genesis: Sunset-Sunrise series. Among other things this series is about moments of inspiration and understandings — those AhHa! moments, when we “see the light”.
Judy Rey Wasserman’s UnGraven Image art presents images that are totally created by strokes that are the Torah font letters used as traditional art stokes. These letter-strokes are interwoven, layered, glazed and used here and there. They represent the words of the Creator, Ruler of the universe through Whose word all things were called into being. In this artwork each stroke is an original Hebrew Torah font letter from the verses of Deuteronomy 6:5-9.
