My greatest Aha! Moment kind of crept in on me, and I continue to fall up into it.
It totally turned my life around. Aside from being a mother and now grandmother, it became my life’s mission. It changed the way that I actually see the world and as an artist, my mission is to share that vision so others can see the world in a more meaningful way, full of inspiration, possibilities and blessings.
Genesis Candle Aleph (Study) is a new painting created with the original letters of Genesis 1:1-5 for the strokes. Those symbol strokes are made with watercolor pencils and acrylic paint on watercolor paper.
Post Conceptual Art is a Big Bang in the theory and history of art as it focuses on the stroke, the smallest unit of meaning created with the smallest unit of physical movement by the artist, as the primary significance in a work. This is the opposite of the idea of the concept that the stroke serves to create the image. Inherent in the work and in both the scientific understanding of the Big Bang and the biblical theology is that the intent and realization of the end result is present at the beginning.
